Activate GuiXT for all users on a same computer

Hi,

I want to activate GuiXT for all users who use a computer.
I agree with the way to activate by computer registry. But this way works fine for the user logged but if an other user connectes on the computer guixt is not activated.

We use : SAPGui 710 SAP ECC6

In Message "#509": an ABAP code should help to Activate GuiXT for users automatically.
You can include it into the logon-user exit (transaction CMOD, exit SUSR0001).

--> can i use this in my system ? other way to activate for all users ?

Modify computer registry:
a) The setting for activating guixt resides in computers registry. With the
help of your IT department, you can switch this registry setting on
automatically and this will activate guixt.
The registry key is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPGUI Front\SAP Frontend
Server\Customize\GuiXT

if this key is set to 1, then guixt will be active.

Hi,

since the registry settings are stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, not in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, they need to be set for each user.

An alternative to the SAP logon exit is to use a Windows logon exit that sets the "GuiXT" key
in the registry to 1 by executing a .reg file.

Hello,

Here is how we handled the solution. We pushed out (ran) a .vbs script to make a registry entry to run a .vbs script when the PC starts up. The .vbs script that runs on login sets write access to C:\guixt (we had an issue) writes the guixt.ini file (also was an issue) and activates guixt and hides guixt.
