There are various differences in SAP 4.7 and ECC 6.0 that are as follow in the various SAP modules.

ECC is stand for Enterprise Central Component and on the other hand SAP R/3 4.7 is totally designed by taking care of 3-tier architecture and SAP keep upgrading its software known as SAP versions like, SAP R/3 4.7 and 4.6 etc.

SAP is emerging into internet and the process called as Service Oriented Architecture or SOA.

And the differences in ECC 6.0 and SAP 4.7 in SD(Sales and Distribution) module are given below:

1.There is a huge difference in sales order look and feel of both.
2.Document flow is also different in both ECC 6.0 and SAP 4.7.
3.ECC 6.0 is working based on Netweaver Technology and compatible with SOA and more trustworthy than SAP 4.7 and other versions.

    The differences in FI Module:

1.ECC 6.0 facilitates business area posting portion with more ease.
2.Separation of entry to post assets to the related sector is done with the help of ECC 6.0
    3.ECC 6.0 is lacking some transactions that are as follows: QAS1, QAS2, QAS3, QAS4 and WLF1K etc.
