Cannot see systems added in SAP Logon (pad)

Updated May 18, 2018

SAP Easy Document Management cannot see systems added in SAP Logon(Pad)

SAP Easy Document Management reads environment variable SAPLOGON_INI_FILE to get  "saplogon.ini" or equivalent which is also used by SAP Logon (Pad). The value should be full path including the filename and extension. If this is not set, SAP Easy Document Management uses "saplogon.ini" or equivalent  in the windows directory to load the SAP Logon (Pad) related  entries.
For SAP GUI for Windows releases older than SAP GUI for Windows 720 the default location of  "saplogon.ini" or equivalent is in the windows directory. For SAP GUI for Windows 720 and above releases there is a change in the default location of "saplogon.ini" or equivalent. For more information see SAP note 1409494.

Please find the saplogon.ini file possibly by using Run command from Start menu and type "%APPDATA%". Then navigate to SAPCommon.Set the full path including the file name in a new environment variable named "SAPLOGON_INI_FILE".

Default location of the "saplogon.ini" or equivalent file:

Microsoft Windows XP:
    <SystemDrive>:Documents and Settings<username>Application DataSAPCommon

Microsoft Windows Vista/ Microsoft Windows 7: <SystemDrive>:Users<username>AppDataRoamingSAPCommon
