Hello everyone!
I am currently in doubt about the career path I would pursue in the coming years and I badly need some advice.
Working as a Functional Support Consultant for SAP FI/CO for three years now, I have gained enough knowledge about SAP FICO which I can use as a Chartered Accountant. Yes, I am a chartered accountant, but with no experience in Accounting because I went to SAP Consulting right after I passed the boards. Now, I would like to make Accounting as my primary skill and career, and would like to have my SAP FICO experience as backup in doing my job as an Accountant.
I have invested so much in SAP and it's not very easy to forego it and finally embrace accounting. Another drawback is that, if I start anew in Accounting, of course I will have minimal salary and lower position.
I'll appreciate every piece of advice.
Thanks.
PJ
