Database Administration (Oracle) with SAPDBA
The administration tool SAPDBA for Oracle and its backup tools BRBACKUP, BRARCHIVE and
BRRESTORE support the database administrator both in daily routine tasks and in less frequent,
complex tasks, such as recovering or reorganizing the database. You can call up the many
SAPDBA functions from an ASCII interface, or you can use a command line interface (CLI) to
configure and execute the functions individually. SAPDBA also offers extensive certified interface
solutions for external backup tools (BACKINT) and integrates the latest in database technology
(including standby databases, EMC Timefinder).
