How to find size of sap client?

Updated May 18, 2018

Hi ,

"Test Run" of Client copy will show you the size of Client. again Size of the client will depend on the profile (SAP_ALL, SAP_USER etc etc) which you will select at the time of Client Copy..if you select SAP_ALL then client size will be approximately 800MB.

Please check it.

Regards,

For SAP 4.7 Version the client size would be 800MB if you select the profile SAP_ALL & for ECC6.0 version it will be approx 1GB+ because in 6.0 version more Tables are added & modules too and approx 20k more tables will be added and because of that size of client will be 1gb+... in 4.7 version tables will be 26k and in 6.0 tables will be 40k+.

    Hi Naveen,

To find out size of client.
    Follow steps.

    1) In the system where you need to find out size of client make one more client entry just for reference.(scc4)
    2) Then  SCCl and shedule client export as background job in test mode.Do check checkbox Test Run.
    3) This will take time according to your client.
4)You can check status with scc3.
    5) When export will successfull check file log you will get client size.
