General Ledger Accounting
This chapter covers the requirements and the customization details of the general ledger transactions. This includes configuration for chart of accounts and bank related accounting.
A new chart of accounts was created with all the relevant general ledger accounts. The logic followed in the chart of account was to create 8 digit codes. The scheme followed is:
20000000-29999999 Asset Accounts
10000000-19999999 Liability Accounts
40000000-49999999 Expense Accounts
30000000-39999999 Income Accounts
