Symptom

If only visit is cancelled at an outpatient case (corresponds to a case cancellation), in the admission message SAP-HCM 011 as well as in the corresponding HL7 message A11, the fields for the 'admission' are not filled.

Reason and Prerequisites

Strictly according to the data model, an outpatient case in fact has no admission. However, as many partner systems as HL7 with outpatient casesinterpret the start of the first visit as 'an admission', with outpatient cases, SAP has filled the admission data with the visit data of the first visit of the case.
Exception: In case of the cancellation of this first visit and other visits still existing, the data of the first visit (which has been the second visit before the cancellation) is transmitted. And if the last and only visit finally is deleted, the admission data remains empty.
This can be a problem for the recipient.
Solution

With the correction on hand, you can immediately make sure that in case of new messages, the admission data is filled with the data of the cancelled visit, provided that this is the last visit of an outpatient case (that is, it is an outpatient case cancellation).
