Responsibilities:
Responsibilities as part of 24X7 global monitoring team include,
§ Mentor junior team members in monitoring process, interacting groups, document management and building on existing database of frequently occurring errors
§ Facilitate rotation among team members, knowledge sharing, maintaining a common database of frequently occurring errors with recommended resolution
§ General understanding of SAP message architecture and monitoring transactions in one or more areas of EDI/IDOCS, CRM Middleware, BW loads, SRM replication, XI interfaces, Batch jobs and Infrastructure messages
§ Advanced ability to review, analyze and qualify errors as data, technical or business process error
§ High level of analytical skills in an enterprise level system landscape
§ Moderate understanding of SAP business documents, master data, transaction data and integration
§ Moderate knowledge SAP interfaces in terms of business documents exchanged between other SAP and non-SAP systems and the underlying technical mechanism
§ Provide in depth analysis of the issue and recommend possible options to resolve/reprocess the error
§ Guide and coordinate periodic updation of system monitoring documents
§ Familiarity with industry standard incident management tools like Peregrine, Remedy etc.
§ Good communication and follow up skills with user community across the globe
§ Should be able to work in Shift (24x7) independently, odd hour's and Holidays (incase of requirement)
§ Monitoring incident and problem Queues, allocating work and seeing it through completion
§ Weekly, monthly monitoring report preparation
§ Coordinate with multiple teams and multiple data centres in resolving support related matters

§ Should be able to coordinate with global team and service SLA’s
§ Ensuring continuity of SAP monitoring support and continuous improvement.
§ Good understanding of SAP enterprise data and interface concept and management.
§ Team working (interaction with lots of different teams – Regional data centres , Local support, …)

Accountabilities:
§ Required to comply with the regulatory regime in which the organization operates as appropriate to the above role
§ Employees are expected to exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the incumbent is responsible for are organised and controlled

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
§ 2.5 - 4 Yrs for Juniors / 5+ years of SAP technical, functional or interface experience (Seniors)
§ Hands on experience in one or more areas of SAP interface development, SD/CRM functional consulting, interface administration, CRM middleware monitoring, EDI/IDOC monitoring, XI interfaces, batch jobs and infrastructure logs (system logs, short dumps, update failures etc.,)
§ Exposure to global SAP projects is a must
§ Exposure to 24X7 operations with batch and interface monitoring is a plus
Essential
§ SAP technical, functional or interface experience
§ Able to navigate deftly within the system to locate the root cause with a clear understanding of master data, transaction data, configuration data and technical data
§ Able to coordinate junior monitoring team member from multitude areas (Ex: ECC, CRM, SRM) along with business and technical support groups
§ Able to follow instructions and willing to take on new responsibilities and learn new skills.
§ Self-motivated and able see tasks through to completion to required quality and timescale
§ Ability to work under pressure and to agreed deadlines.
Desirable
§ Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role within a multinational context (multi-environments , multiple subcontractor teams, centralized support)
§ Business experience or very good awareness of IT impacts on business
