Do i need to have Domain knowledge for taking up SAP BW MODULE.

Guys am in lil Confusion....

am an MCA[Masters In Computers] Pass-out 2007 agrd. from Hyderabad/India Looking for a career in SAP.

i was actually thinking of taking up SAP BW Courses as i heard there would be no programming part in that and also that its a HOT module in the market.

But a persom suggested me to take up ABAP as am an Computers Back Ground guy.He says I need to have Business Warehouse Domain Knowlede For Doing SAP BW.

so,is it true that i need to have Domain Knowledge for Taking up Business warehouse???.

i know that ABAP would do good for me but why i havent Taken that Module is..beacuse of the Most of the Consultants are opting for ABAP and the market has Most ABAP Consultants available....make it Most Crowded as in Case of "TESTING Tools" Market.

i repeat my Quearies....

1.Do i need to have Domain knowledge for takinup SAP BW MODULE COUSES.

2.For an Computers back ground guy like MCA.....and according to Market share which Module do u suggest for me...ABAP or BW.

3.if you know any Best Institues in hyderabad please suggest me.am located at Secunderabad.for me my Eyes are on Methodex @ Begumpet.

Dude,

Hope you read Data Warehouse in your curriculum. Better learn verywell about that basics.It is enough for Pursue your SAP BW.

But the thing here is in the recessiontime everybody asking the 3+ experience in SAP BW(with hands-on).

So if you learn very well about the SAP BW/BI as well, it is too good for your future also.
