POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We expect candidate to have significant experience in at least 2 of the following SAP components:
SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), SAP NetWeaver Process Intergration, SAP NetWeaver Mobile Infrastructure, SAP NetWeaver Portal, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Java Development Infrastructure, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Web Application Server, SAP Netweaver Master Data Management,
MUST have experience as a SAP Basis Administrator
Analyze customers' technical requirements and systems infrastructure (e.g., systems architecture & landscape design) and provide support in the areas of database administration, SAP product installations, upgrades, SAP administration (e.g., Correction Transport Management, backup/recovery procedures), change management, performance tuning, and overall technical consulting assistance. The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the installation, technical administration, tuning, and monitoring of the SAP application and supporting functional teams.
Key Responsibilities: Installation, support packs, upgrades, backup/recovery and trouble shooting for SAP ECC, SAP Netweaver and SAP Web Dispatcher.
Other Duties: Provide Technical IT consulting on SAP related projects. Perform proactive review of systems performance metrics and alerts to ensure event correlation and trend analysis are performed on a regular basis. Assist DBA with system backup monitoring, backup failure troubleshooting, and restore requests. Review systems logs to identify signs of potential problems. Evaluate software or system releases to determine compatibility. Coordinate system tuning to improve operational capabilities. Document systems infrastructure and maintain an accurate hardware and software inventory.
