Job: SAP Basis Administrator (MUST HAVE BW Netweaver 7.3 experience)
Location:Lake Forest, IL
Duration:4months

 
The consultant will be responsible for upgrading BW (ABAP) and BW (JAVA) systems from Net weaver 7.0 EHP1 (7.01) to Net weaver 7.3. Knowledge Transfer (e.g. documentation, training) regarding upgrade to administrators
1.    Must have one or more upgrade project experience in upgrading to BW 7.3 (both ABAP and JAVA) particularly  upgrading them from Netweaver 7.0 EHP1 (7.01) to Netweaver 7.3 (covering both ETL and Queries)
2.    Must have worked hands-on in Basis administrator role in upgrading BW ABAP and Java systems from 7.01 to 7.3, including full lifecycle of BW upgrade project in a Unix/Oracle environment preferably a large environment using x86 servers (DB - Solaris , App servers - Linux)
3.    Must have BW accelerator and Oracle database administration experience
4.    At least Five years of SAP Netweaver administration experience in SAP ABAP and J2EE systems
5.    Ability to troubleshoot BW source system extraction issue during BW 7.3 upgrade, particularly in source systems such as  ECC, CRM, SCM, SRM and EWM
6.    Understand and use Unix, Linux, Solaris and Windows-based scripting and programming languages (J2EE, ABAP, VB, .net and Java, etc.) in support tasks including problem solving  and troubleshooting skills in  upgrade projects.
