Job Description         SAP Data Quality Specialist

Position Description             
 

•   The candidate must be proficient in configuring the SAP DQM platform including the Informatica DQM connector. The candidate will be expected to review and optimize the Client configuration.
•   The candidate will be expected to recommend whether the Client data quality needs can be met with the existing SAP DQM Informatica connector license or whether an upgrade to the batch version of the tool is recommended.  If an upgrade is recommended, justification will need to be provided to warrant the upgrade recommendation.
•   The candidate must be proficient in using the SAP DQM tools to build data profile, data cleansing and match merge processes to help improve data quality within the Client.
•   The Client would like to have a data quality dashboard built that shows the impact of data quality problems on all downstream systems or applications.
•   The position requires the candidate to help build DQ web services that could be leveraged by Client applications to cleanse and standardize name and address data.

•    Experience Required in the following areas: 5-10 years SAP Data Quality Manager Tool experience or equivalent

 
Additional Information  :     The technical skills required for this position are as follows:

1. 5 yrs+ experience with SAP DQM or equivalent tool
2. 2 yrs+ experience with SAP DQM Informatica Connector
3. 2 yrs+ experience with developing data quality web services
4. 2 yrs+ Informatica development.
4. Data warehouse experience is a plus.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

•  Monthly Performance (List Tasks & Deliverables to be assigned) Review and optimize the Client SAP DQM and Informatica connector configuration.
•  Develop reusable name and address standardization DQM processes that can be used within data warehouse, operational data store (ODS) and application DQ processes.
•  Develop donor match/merge processes for the Learning Management System (LMS) Financial Donor, and other data sets within the DW.
•  Provide training to the Client Data Integration and Business Intelligence technical teams
•  Provide best practice recommendations for developing DQ processes and web services
•  Attend relevant meetings
