Hello All,
I am new to SAP though I have a programming background with .NET, JAVA, PHP and JSP along with SQL Server, MySQL Database. I am strong in SQL Query Languages.
During the last year I was working on an integration project as a Project Coordinator between SAP MM and .NET Based Applciations.
I realized that I can potentially learn ABAP and XI based on my excellent programming skills and IT Knowledge.
I downloaded the SAP R3 IDES from Rapidshare.com to further move on with SAP but I am having tough time installing IDES on my Acer Laptop, 2 GB Ram, 80 GB HDD, 1.7 GIGz Processor.
I have seen in most of the installation guides DB Server is Oracle 9 whereas my downloaded files are based on Oracle 8i and this is why I cant fully follow the instructions in these guidelines properly and I messup the installation.
I would really appreciate anybody helping me, I have already bought UltimateSAP CDs for learning and I dont want to give up.
