SAP Implementation in Business Curriculum
The following student exercises involved customizing the Implementation Guide (IMG) within the SAP software. This method of installing and customizing SAP in a consultant’s capacity teaches the students all aspects of planning and managing a business through enterprise resource planning. Furthermore, additional benefit is obtained by exposing high school students to the highly demanding field of implementing SAP.
The integrated components of the SAP R/3 system include all the different facets of an ERP business environment.(Figure-1) All departments have direct lines of communication and responsibility for the finished product.
