SAP Licensing Procedure
Prerequisites
To use your SAP software legally and in accordance with the contractual stipulations, SAP Systems can only be operated with a license key (license keycode) granted by SAP.
Process Flow
When you install your SAP System, a temporary license is installed. This is valid for four weeks from the date of installation. Before the temporary license expires, you must apply for a permanent license key from SAP. SAP recommends that you do so as soon as possible after you install your system (or transfer the message server to a different host).
