Try out SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 Trial Version! Develop, model and design mobile applications with the mobile development tools of NetWeaver Mobile 7.1. The tools are installed on top of SAP NetWeaver CE. Deploy and run the applications on Windows Mobile™ devices. This package contains the tools for developing the client-side of mobile applications for SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1, including:

• Mobile perspectives of SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 for NWDS

• Local Data Object Editor perspective (specific to this trial version; not part of standard shipment)

• NetWeaver Mobile Client for Handhelds incl. SAP MinDB database.

• Sample application

Note: SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.1 is NOT part of the download package, but is integral part of the product shipment SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1. In order to synchronize applications that you have developed with SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 Trial Version, you absolutely need to install SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.1 also. Without such installation, applications you have developed with the Trial Version will only be able to run standalone on NW Mobile Client, but without data synchronization.

This product is especially made for a 90-day-trial, so restrictions regarding stability, support, and features apply. Our intention for this product is only to let you try functions & features of SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1. We do not promise that applications developed with this edition can later be ported to commercially available versions of SAP NetWeaver.

The use of SAP NetWeaver Mobile 7.1 Trial Version is for evaluation purposes only and does not allow commercial use.

System Requirements

• SAP NetWeaver Composition Enviroment 7.1 SR3 - Trial Version. All system requirements for CE therefore also apply to this package. CE download is available here.

  Note: You just need the Developer Studio part of the CE package.

• J2SE 5.0 Java Developement Kit: Mobile Developement Tools, NW Mobile Client and CE Dev Studio all run on J2SE 6.0 also, but this installer package only finds JDK 5.0 today. Will be fixed soon. JDK download here.

If you want to test your developements on Windows Mobile™, you need a mobile device running either

• Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 ™ on XScale processor with 128 MB RAM and 128MB fast Flash-ROM or

• Microsoft MS Windows Mobile 2003 SE on XScale with 128MB RAM

   

  Alternatively, Microsoft Device Emulator 3.0 -- Standalone Release can be used together with device images for the above-mentioned platforms.
