SAP R3 installation - BRCONNECT error

Guys

I am installing SAPR3 system on Windows. After the installation is complete, while running the post installation tasks I am seeing the following error. The database is up and running and the listener is up too. I can connect to the database from sqlplus. The ORACLE_SID is also set, Can you tell me what I have to do get over this problem ? Hi,

Check listner services from services.msc...it will be manual..make it automatic and restart the service and start SAP..Let me know if this works.

Hi

The listner service is runing in the services too. I still get the same message.

When I go to BRTools, I see that the instance name, UID/PWD are all null. Could this be the reason ? It it is, how do I set these and save the configuration. I can change these atributes in the BRTools but I could not save the configuration.

Hope I am making sense.
