You could not find an application form for SAP Smart Forms. In this case, how do you get more information about existing Smart Forms in the SAP applications and how do you proceed if no Smart Forms standard form exists?
Solution
Either the form exists and was not found during the search or there is no suitable form or data retrieval program in the SAP systems.
First use the F4 help in the SMARTFORMS transaction to list existing forms. If necessary, refer to the release note for the relevant SAP component, or see the documentation.
If a form that meets all the requirements exists in the SAP System, this form is used in application customizing. Refer to note 430621, which contains a list of existing Smart Forms in the applications.
If a form does not meet all your requirements, it can be easily changed because it is normally not necessary to make changes to an ABAP program.
If there is no form that meets your general requirements, you can easily create customer-specific forms.
If there is no suitable data retrieval in the SAP system, SAP offers consulting support to implement ABAP programs that are tailored to your specific requirements. In Basis Release 4.6C, SAP has already successfully implemented several consulting projects of this type.
