Solution Architect - J2EE:
We require a Solution Architect with more than 8 years of IT experience in the following areas. Minimum of 3 years of technical architecting experience in J2EE solutions & detailed design documents. End to end project development experience including application design. Demonstrated technical leadership at all levels. Very good communication and presentation skills. Good in stakeholder management (working directly with business team, delivery team, domain, infrastructure & security architects) and influencing & negotiating skills. Experienced working directly with business team and business unit architect.
Key skills that we will be looking for are:
- Java development or Implementations background (Java SE and Java EE)
- Web services development (Java based)
- A reasonable understanding of XML and related technologies
- Databases: MS-SQL, Oracle, JDBC
- Understanding of web Application Server technologies
- Programming languages: C/C++, C#, ideally some Visual Basic
- OS knowledge: Linux, Windows, ideally Unix
- A background in Solutions Design and Architecture within the Banking / Financial industry.
- Demonstrable experience with: Java development, J2EE, Oracle.
- Minimum 7 years experience in J2EE Solution Architect
- Domain experience in Banking or Financial Services is must.
You should have convincing examples about how you've used Java, J2SE, J2EE/XML, XSLT/SOAP, Web Services, Databases/SQL, Web Application Servers technology based solutions in a Consulting Capacity.
These roles are very technology focussed client-facing roles where you will be required to lead on the project. You are currently an Application Architect or Solution Architect looking for your next challenge.
