How to Solve tp Prob ???

Hi ,

I have Configured TMS (Virtual-Three System Configuration) in my system (Version 4.7EE) & have Created a Transport Request too, but when am trying to release the request from T-code SE10. Sub-task getting released but when am trying to release Main task, below at Status bar its saying " tp successfully connected " but its not moving ahead from that place. even if i lev it for 10mins also its showing same thing. atleast if it showed me any error then i would have done some thing but its not even trying to do so.

1st i thought i might have 4got giving target system name & i have checked it but its clearly mentioned in it so thats not a prob.

2nd i thoght recently i have applied patches to it (ABAP & BASIS) both level ABAP 21 & BASIS 21 & even i have applied & checked spam also its on level 26. ... M thinking this mite b d problem.

3rd i felt like i might not have config TMS properly & i did it thrice but same thing happening.

4th i thought my tp got corrupted. If i update my kernel will it get solved. ??? or can v resolve this prob without updating kernel level from 620 to 640?

i thoght kernel mite b d prob & even i hav installed only central instance so that tp issues mite get resolved but things r not working. So , what mite be the reason(s) for not getting released my Transport requests? Can anyone guide me in this regard.

Can anyone send me link from where i can download kernel 640 version. i have s.no

When am clicking on Transports button here as below mentioned…

This below mentioned page is coming but not able to get any LOG for that. \

When I come back & Click on Display Button as shown in the 1st page it is taking me into this below Mentioned page. Here you can Check at bottom saying “ tp successfully connected”, here it ends I mean From here on request gets stopped & won’t release Main Task. Sub-task gets released as u can see in below Pic & wen it comes to main task its not moving ahead from here on. Even if I lev it for 10 – 15mins also it wil remain as it is show in below pic.

Now tell me how to resolve it ??

Hi,

You need to download kernal from www.service.sap.com.

Kernel will be depending on Version wil be there.
You need to download from marketplace database dependent and databse independet.

Hi,

check the follwing things.

1. Check the tp version from STMS---select the system from , System Overview, and check the transport tool tab.

2. in which tp verion, transport directory etc parameter should be checked.

3. also yo can check the locgs STMS ----Import overview and then the source system from where you are trying to release the TR.-----Goto---tp system logs. here you will get the detail logs.

ERPK900040 is a modifiable -- not a transport request

Modifiable’s cannot be transported -- (because of some Landscape restrictions - One of the Landscape I worked on) –

Create one more new Transport which would include ERPK900040 as modifiable release it then you would see it as written as Transports and then Transport It . That Should Work for you.
